Root Canal Therapy

In certain scenarios, the dental nerve inside the tooth can be damaged. Trauma, large cavities and cracked teeth can all lead to root canal therapy. During this procedure, the nerve is identified, retreived and sterilized in a completely painless way. The canal space where the nerve used to be is filled with sealer material and the infected tooth becomes asymptomatic. Normally, this process can be completed in one appointment. However, in the case of extreme infection- root canal therapy may take multiple appointments to adequately remove the infection and properly sterilize the tooth.
