Dental Crowns

If tooth enamel is compromised, or if a large amount of tooth is destroyed, we will move to cohesive dentistry which is a dental crown. Dental crowns are used when teeth are cracked, broken or a large amount of decay is present which sacrifices the strength and integrity of the tooth. A dental crown protects and seals the tooth by providing a layer of porcelain 360 degrees around the preparation. After cementation of the crown, the tooth is functional and esthetically pleasing.
